I started with Rundle Academy in September of 2005 with over a decade of experience working with students with learning disabilities. During my time at the Academy, I taught in elementary and junior high programs and held divisional and curriculum leadership positions. Over the span of my teaching career, I have taught in several schools including international teaching experiences in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Singapore.

I hold a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Winnipeg and a Master of Education in Administration.

I am married to my wife, Caley, and we have two sons, Zachary (9) and Crosby (7).

I enjoy travelling, reading, and playing almost any sport. A glutton for punishment, I have participated in several marathons and ultra-marathons including the Oxfam Trailwalker 100 km race in Hong Kong and the Borneo Ultra Trail Marathon.

As part of giving back to the community, I have helped raise money for the Tabitha Foundation of Cambodia and participated in a house-building program. I continue to volunteer at Soup Sisters, raise money for Movember, and I am proud to sponsor the Rundle Gives program.

Rundle Studio combines opportunity and equity beyond the walls of a building.

Mrs. Tisha Mellor | Teacher

In the fall of 2004, I started teaching at Rundle Academy in the elementary division. I have over 15 years of experience working with students who have learning disabilities. Prior to teaching at Rundle, I taught at another independent school for individuals with special needs. During the past several years I have tutored at all three divisions, both in-person and online.

I received my Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary.

I am married with two children. I have spent the past six years at home with my kids and now they are both students at Rundle College.

During my leisure time, I enjoy spending time in the mountains with my family and friends. I also enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and swimming in the summer and cross country skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter.

As part of giving back to the community, I helped build the Academy school playground in 2014. Over the last two years, I have raised funds for the diabetes association and I volunteer for my community hockey league with fundraising and tournaments.

Teaching online is so unique as it blends the best practices of teaching with excellent technology.

Mrs. Danna Euverman | Teacher

I grew up in the state of Michigan and taught math at the middle school and high school levels for five years in the district where I grew up. When I moved to Washington, DC in 2015 I taught at a middle school for two years — go Yellowjackets! I wrapped up my teaching career in the US as a Special Education Coordinator working closely with families during the special education process. I also supported teachers in their classrooms and building administrators with state and federal regulations. I have over a decade of experience working with students with disabilities.

I earned my Bachelor of Education degree from Central Michigan University and a Masters of Education in Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University.

My husband, Jared, and I have been married since 2019 and our pride and joy is our hairless dog, Mochi. My family resides in Michigan, and I have many friends scattered around the states.

Teaching community fitness classes in Calgary is a passion of mine and I love to be active, travel, explore the city of Calgary, and try new restaurants in the area. I moved to Calgary in September 2019 and I love it when I get recommendations to local attractions, restaurants, and “Calgary staples” to explore with our family and friends.

I look forward to continuing working with our students this school year!

Rundle Studio provides a safe and engaging environment for students to reach their full potential “in the cloud”. Let’s have some fun reaching that potential!

I grew up in Winnipeg and received my Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax. I moved to Calgary to work in the field of environmental engineering, and after a few years decided to attend University of Calgary to pursue a Bachelor of Education degree. I began my teaching career in 2008 at a local charter school where I taught a variety of grades and subjects to a diverse student population. Prior to joining Rundle Studio, I was a numeracy learning specialist with a local school division working with K–12 educators to build high-quality math programs for all students.

I have a Master of Education from the University of Calgary in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Design Thinking for Innovation and Digital Learning. Most recently I completed a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from Royal Roads University.

At home, we keep busy with three kids and a dog named Analog. In addition to cycling and camping with my family in the summer, I enjoy gardening and can usually be found outside in the garden or tending to my houseplants inside.

I look forward to an exciting school year at Rundle Studio this year!

Through my graduate work, I studied how to best use digital technologies to design innovative learning environments and experiences for the online environment. This year at the Studio I am looking forward to engaging in learning with our Studio students.

Eva KnightMs. Eva Knight | Teacher

I grew up in Southern Alberta and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts (Multidisciplinary: Drama and Voice) from the University of Lethbridge. I moved to Calgary where I received my Bachelor of Education and began my official teaching career in 2007. The past sixteen years have been spent teaching humanities, the arts, and developing literacy programs for students K—12.

My studies took me overseas to complete a Masters of Education: Drama in Education at Trinity College Dublin. My masters thesis delved into how drama techniques could enhance classroom community by using these techniques to teach humanities.

My husband and I have two amazing children, ages 13 and 15, and a snorty French Bulldog named Lola, who occasionally makes an appearance during classes. We enjoy playing board games, going to live theatre, trying new restaurants, and discovering all of the interesting nooks and crannies Calgary has to offer.

When not spending time with my family, I can often be found onstage singing with the Calgary Opera Chorus, and volunteering with several other arts organizations in Alberta.

Rundle Studio provides a unique opportunity to support students on their learning journey, wherever they may be, literally and figuratively!
