Who is a Rundle Academy Student?

A Rundle Academy student is curious, capable, and ready to grow with the right support. They thrive in a structured, encouraging environment where academics, athletics, fine arts, and community involvement help build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of potential.

My child has ADHD—can they attend Rundle Academy?

We’re proud to support students with ADHD. That said, eligibility for Rundle Academy also requires a formal diagnosis of a Learning Disability—like Dyslexia—or a Specific Learning Disorder, confirmed through a psycho-educational assessment. As Rundle Academy is considered a Designated Special Education Program, this is a funding requirement set by Alberta Education. Our expertise lies in helping students navigating both ADHD and learning disabilities thrive, and we’re passionate about creating the right environment for their success.

Supported Learners & Confident Achievers

Rundle Academy’s individualized program supports academic, social, and personal growth, complemented by music, languages, technology, and physical education. Teachers use assistive technology, differentiated instruction, and intensive literacy support to help every student succeed.

Leading with Integrity & Purpose

We value academic achievement, and we also value character. Through service opportunities, school outings, guest speakers, and daily practice, students learn compassion, respect, perseverance, responsibility, and integrity.

Exploration, Belonging & Personal Growth

Learning is changing, and Rundle continues to expand opportunities for curiosity and self-discovery. Students are encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and develop the skills needed for lifelong learning. Extracurricular activities extend learning beyond the regular school day and year.
