Eric served as the Chief Financial Officer of MEG Energy Corp. for nine years. Prior to joining MEG, he spent 17 years in Investment Banking based in Calgary, Toronto and New York, and five years with two global public practice accounting firms. 

Eric holds a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, from which he obtained the certified ICD.D designation.

He and his wife, Leslie, have two children who have been a part of Rundle Academy, Samuel ’19 and Sasha ’22 who have both graduated, as well as Augusta ’25, who currently attends.

Scott was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Pembina Pipeline Corporation in February 2022. Prior to his current role, Scott was Chief Financial Officer for approximately seven years, overseeing the company’s financial operations, investor relations, treasury, tax, risk management, corporate planning, corporate development and capital market financings.

Previously, Scott served as Vice President, Capital Markets, and as Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations. In these roles, Scott was responsible for guiding Pembina through its corporate-level financial analysis of business opportunities in addition to strategic development and planning, acquisitions and divestitures. He also supported the company’s participation in the capital markets by evaluating various financing alternatives and oversaw Pembina’s investor relations and related marketing initiatives.

Before joining Pembina in 2010, Scott spent seven years in energy-focused investment banking where he provided advice and counsel related to mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and equity and debt financings. He has considerable experience in most aspects of the energy industry, including petroleum, natural gas and other product pipelines and related infrastructure facilities. Scott has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, is also a CFA Charterholder and was named one of Canada’s top 40 under 40.

He and his wife, Carmen have two children attending Rundle College: Ethan ’27 and Chloe ’29. Scott is a member of the Finance Committee, Governance Committee, Head Support and Compensation Committee. 

Carrie Ferguson is a member of the Law Society of Alberta. She practiced law at an international law firm, Blake, Cassels and Graydon LLP, and a global energy company, Nexen Inc., where she primarily practiced in energy, corporate and commercial law. Carrie is passionate about youth philanthropy and advocacy, and she has served in a variety of roles for organizations such as UNICEF Canada, the Children’s Hospital Aid Society, Street Teams and the Banff Centre for Arts and Performance, some of which she continues to this day. In her belief of giving back to the community, she also served for several years on the Board of the Strathcona, Christie and Aspen Community Association, mainly assisting with development matters.

Carrie has been a member of Rundle College Society since 2010 and a member of the Board of Directors since 2013, serving as Chair from 2016 to 2022. She currently has two children in the Senior High at Rundle College.

With 35+ years of experience in the national full-service food and hospitality sector and commercial real estate development across Canada, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to every venture. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he and his family are deeply committed to philanthropy, actively engaging with numerous charitable organizations locally and nationally across Canada.

Chris is a passionate advocate for Rundle’s values and educational philosophy. He has four daughters who have attended Rundle College; two have already graduated, and two currently attend the school.

Iain G. McCorkindale has over two decades of experience in the real estate development sector and carries the professional accreditations of MRICS, PQS and LEED AP. Following an apprenticeship with Rolls-Royce plc. where he earned his Sheet Metal Worker Journeyman papers, Iain graduated from Glasgow’s Caledonian University in 1998 achieving a First-Class BSc (Hons.) Quantity Surveying Degree and winning five distinction awards in his final year. Following graduation, Iain was recruited by Helyar & Associates (now Altus Group) where he spent eight years in their Toronto Office. In 2006, he and his family relocated to Calgary to start Altus Group’s construction cost management practice where he led a very successful team that serviced the Prairies. In 2011, Iain joined a prominent local real estate owner/developer where he built and led a team focused on developing mixed-use projects. In 2016, Iain and his two business partners formed M3 Development Management Ltd. which is actively providing turnkey development and project management services on many significant and large-scale projects across Canada.

Iain has been a member of the Board at Rundle since 2017. He currently has one child in senior high at Rundle Academy, and another child who has graduated from Rundle College.

Jon has more than 30 years of finance and operations experience, mostly in the Canadian oil and gas industry. Jon is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from the University of Alberta.

Jon serves as both the Advancement Chair and a Director on our Board. He is a strong believer in the goals and potential of the Rundle community, with all three of his children having graduated from Rundle.

Shana Wolch is a partner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Calgary office’s labour and employment group. She assists clients daily with their human resources needs, including occupational health and safety issues, disability management, personnel management, human rights, and privacy.

Prior to pursuing her law degree, Shana obtained a Bachelor of Education degree and has been a guest lecturer at local universities, where she exercises her passion for educating and supporting the development of our future leaders.

Shana was honoured to join the esteemed and committed Board of Directors at Rundle, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to use her legal and human resources skills coupled with her background as an educator, to support the initiatives and directives of Rundle. Prior to joining the Board, Shana received the Rundle College Ascent Leadership award in 2021, to recognize her exemplary lifetime of leadership and her significant impact in modelling excellence to inspire a generation of new leaders.

Dennis is a retired Executive who spent 40 years with Volkerwessels Canada Ltd, known as Volker Stevin Canada. At retirement, Dennis was the General Manager of Corporate Services responsible for various departments, including HR. Safety, Risk, Environment and Insurance. Dennis attended Brigham Young University where he completed a teaching major in Sociology and Minored in Political Science. Although his original educational interest was in Law, after a short experience in teaching, he went into the Heavy Construction industry where he remained for his entire career.

Dennis has been on numerous Boards, including the Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association and the Alberta Construction Safety Association.

He volunteered on the Board of Directors at Rundle College Society after his son Trevor had a wonderful experience at the Academy. He is married to Sharon, and they have four children and nine grandchildren.

Mehri is the vice-president of finance and administration of Superior Gas Liquids (SGL). Prior to joining SGL, she spent 25 years in finance, accounting, governance, audit and supply chain management within the energy industry based in Canada, the UK and Azerbaijan. Mehri is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada, Chartered Global Management Accountant in the UK and U.S.A. and holds fellowship with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK. Mehri has a Bachelor of Finance and Credit degree from Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

She and her husband, Parviz, have four children; one is a Rundle College graduate and her son currently attends Rundle College Junior High.

Mehri is a Board Director, member of the governance committee and a Chair of the fundraising and advancement committee. Mehri also serves as a President for the Energy Accountants Society of Canada.

Katherine Harmsworth has deep experience as a philanthropic advisor. During the past 20 years she has worked in family philanthropy, and corporate and community foundations. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts, First Class Honours degree and a Masters of Arts degree in political science from the University of Calgary. She is an advisor to the grants committee at the Calgary Foundation, and volunteers as a community grant member at the Columbia Valley Community Foundation.

She and her husband, Jason Green, have two children who graduated from Rundle College: Isabelle ’22 and Abigail ’22. Katherine is on the executive committee and serves as Chair of the governance committee. She is interested in continuing to build the Rundle community by honouring the traditions and legacy of Rundle College while preparing students for an ever-changing world.
